1. Time & Date
This agreement is for a 90min Drum Circle beginning at 6:30pm on Weds April 1st, 2026. We will arrive at least 15mins early for proper setup time and assessment of the space.
2. Drum Circle Details
We will begin the Drum Circle with fundamental instruction structured around African Rhythms with improv to bring everyone together in frequency and one with the music. Drums and percussion instruments are provided. Everyone is also welcome and encouraged to bring their own drum or instrument. We inspire everyone to be themselves and allow their soul to play.
2. Drum Circle Ethics
All of the drums provided at the drum circle are a courtesy to the guest to play and enjoy. 95% of these drums are naturally made from wood and goat/cow skin which makes them sensitive to moisture and heat. They are durable and made to play but can be damaged if handled improperly. We encourage everyone who is using the drum to not wear rings during play or hit the djembes with sticks or mallets. The larger drums (DunDuns) are made to be played with sticks. We also ask if helping to transport them to not drop or throw them. Deliberate destruction or mishandling of drums, may result in client being asked to replace drum(s).
3. Exchange Agreement
The agreed exchange for the Drum circle is $300. That includes a 90min facilitated Drum Circle, travel costs, setup and tear down. A deposit of $100 is due upon the signing of the contract. The remainder of $200 is due the day of the event.
3. Cancellation
If the Drum Circle decides to cancel or postpone the event, the non-refundable deposit will be kept as a retainer for lost wages.Under the unfortunate circumstances of sickness or family emergencies that require the facilitator Floyd Joynes to cancel the event, a full refund of the deposit will be granted. We will do our best to try and find a replacement to supplement the loss.
